Molasses

Molasses is a dark brown to black viscous liquid by‑product of sugarcane or sugar beet processing. It is rich in sucrose, glucose, fructose, non‑sugar organic compounds and minerals, with a sweet taste and slight bitterness. Highly soluble in water and chemically stable.
